Guide to MSP432P40 LaunchPad (MSP-EXP432P401R)

Supported in Energia 15+, Energia MT capable

The MSP-EXP432P401R is the first 32-bit LaunchPad from the legendary MSP430 family.  It features an ARM Cortex-M4F core perfect for projects that require low power + performance such as battery operated applications.

Energia MT is supported for MSP432. You can make use of multi-tasking in your Energia sketches and automatically enter low power modes when idle. Learn more about MT!

Drivers may or may not be required in order to start using this LaunchPad. Download and open Energia on your system. Connect your LaunchPad to your computer over USB. Select MSP430P401R under Tools > Board, and select the correct serial port under Tools > Serial Port. If you don’t see a selectable serial port, you likely have a driver issue.
